Johannesburg Newsletter, Number 33, January 23,2012

Dear Family and Friends,

It is almost the end of January and I find myself preparing to go back to South Africa. My home church, CC San Jose, asked me share on January 8th at our first of three annual church prayer nights. Pastor Mike McClure and Pastor Brad Wood and several others prayed for me….I really felt that GOD has a strong new reason for me to go back to South Africa and I am excited to see what HE has planned.

Sharing one last time here in San Jose with the AWANA group, I found that several children desire to serve outside of the USA. This is such a blessing for me to hear and know that the children are praying for the children of South Africa and also for me.
2011 gave me much opportunity for prayer!  It was bumpy but searching, learning, listening, and most of all walking by faith; I am ready to go back.

For the first time in many years, I went to the CC Mission Conference at Murrieta Hot Springs.  The teaching was powerful and encouraging. Seeing old friends and meeting new friends was a great blessing!  One of the surprises was to meet the Howard family face to face.  C.C.Harrogate England, where they serve, is the church that sent the containers, filled with shoes, socks, blankets and backpacks, to South Africa for the Mountainview orphans.  We look forward to seeing how GOD will put more together for these children.

As I go back, I respectfully ask for your prayer support. Thank you.

Blessings and love,
Jan Pane
